OT - Even Lieberman voted no

As far as I am concerned, the 12 democrats who voted yes on Alito all
deserve to be voted out of office unless they change their party
affiliation. Robert Byrd is officially a republican now. Why would the man
continue to call himself a democrat? And Ben Nelson? Ditto. And all the
others.
Also, the "moderate" republicans who claim to be pro-choice or mouth
platitudes about being against big government and especially overreaching
by the executive, are all hypocrites. Let's take a moment to call them all
out by name:
Olympia Snowe (Me)
Susan Collins (Me)
John Sununu (NH)
Judd Gregg (Vt)
John Warner (Va)
Lisa Murkowski (Ak)
John McCain (Az)
Arlen Specter (Pa) - sorta makes his upcoming investigation of Bush's
illegal wiretapping moot, no?
George Voiovich (Oh) (how could this guy cry on the Senate floor over
Bolton and then confirm Alito?)
And let's give a round of applause to the one "moderate republican" who
actually stood up for what he says he believes instead of caving into the
machine: Lincoln Chafee of Rhode Island. Now the only REpublican in the
Senate I can have any respect for. The rest are lying hypocrites who need
ot be voted out of office.
Finally, I will yet again renew my call for Harry "Spineless" Reid to step
down as minority leader. I am going to send him an e-mail. I encourage
everyone to do the same. Point out how easily he could have had Alito
rejected if he had just done his job.
