I'm not trying to defend his comments but in fairness, the rest of the
quote was:

"That would be an impossible, ridiculous, and morally reprehensible
thing to do, but your crime rate would go down. So these far-out, these
far-reaching, extensive extrapolations are, I think, tricky."

If you aborted all fetuses in this country, not just black ones, the
crime rate would probably go down too.

That being said, things aren't looking so good for the Republicans
right now.
