KINNEY PARKING IS THE WORST - DON'T USE THEM

Kinney parking garages around Yankee Stadium are ripping the public
off and should not be used.
First, they offer no rain checks. When Division Series Game 2
against the Tigers was rained out and rescheduled the next day,
Kinney
ripped everyone off by charging AGAIN to park. Why should people pay
twice for the same game.
Second, Kinney is doubling the price to park during the entire
playoffs. What a rip off!!
Those $13.00 and $24.00 lots are increased to $26.00 and $48.00.
Thats price gauging plain and simple. People who park their car are
getting nothing extra for paying double, it's the same exact parking
lot that it was before the playoffs started.
Third, When a vehicle enters the lot and pays the attendant one is
given a yellow ticket to keep on their dash. What a bunch of crap
this ticket is. It basically is a disclaimer stating Kinney is not
responsible should anything happen to your car. What a joke that is.
Of course Kinney IS responsible should anything happen to your car.
It's called care,cutody and control.
It's a private parking lot and one is paying a fee to park there.
They are responsible for your safety and your car since it's parked
on
their lot. Kinney thinks that they can deter people from filing a
lawsuit due to loss or damage by handing out a piece of paper. It
doesn't work that way. Parking is NOT at the owners risk. Kinney is
responsible for all loss or damage.
I strongly urge anyone to take Kinney to small claims court in
seeking justice. Their corporate name and address is: Central

The small claims court is only a few blocks away from Yankee Stadium.
*** Make sure that upon entering the parking lot and when handed the
yellow ticket that the ticket is time and date stamped on it so you
have proof of when you were there. ****
Of course, when I ask for them to do this the attendent says they
don't have the machine to stamp it. How ridiculous is that!! Every
parking garage in Manhattan date/time stamps their tickets. Demand
that your ticket is stamped and don't drive away until it is.
Kinney once again doesn't bother with this practice in order to give
them an edge if taken to court.
I hope this mesage hurts Kinney in the worst way possible with loss
of
business and money. We should all be sick and tired of their unfair
business practices.
