Well, well. I suggested, just as a hypothetical, that Pettitte might
be springing the same trap on NYY that Clemens sprung on the Astros,
where Clemens ended up with a settlement to avoid arbitration of $22
million or whatever. I suggested that arbitration to Pettitte might
have the same result. Well, good old Andy has accepted arbitration, so
we shall see.

I think you're reading a bit too much into this.
