Well, when you really start to quantify BR (Bragging Rights) against
TA (Total Awards), you discover that the components of each statistic
are incredibly different.

For instance:

BR = Championship Wins + Rival Team Losses / *** Talk

Whereas TA calculates thusly:

TA = RC + OPS + HR + RF - League Averages

So as you can see, one actually uses statistics and the other is
basically *** Talk (ST).

How does one *** over a club by exercising an option that was plainly
obvious in a contract when he was traded for? Keep in mind that ARod
moved himself to third and therefore out of the running of "greatest
SS ever" to play here. He tried to take a paycut to go to the Sox but
the union wouldn't let him. He's bent to make a better situation.
It's his right to exercise his options.
