Is Giambi Torre's bad luck charm?

Yankees 2007 winning percentage with Giambi before DL: .440
Yankees 2007 winning percentage with Giambi on DL: .647
Yankees 2007 winning percentage with Giambi back from DL: .420

I don't think Giambi is a bad player but something about having him in
the lineup makes Torre a lazy manager. It seems he just sits there
waiting for a 3 run home run instead of actively managing a game to
try to score runs.
