Damon's continuing injury problems are exactly what I feared when the
Yankees sign him to a FOUR year deal...he's got "high miles", and
already a number of pre-existing chronic conditions...there's no
questioning Johnny's talent, and especially his BIG heart, BUT how much
is he going to be on the field during the life of his contract, and
will he be effective if his injuries overtake his natural abilities? I
hope for the best here, but based on what happens to most speed reliant
players who start to break down, I fear the worst! "Pa"
