I've never heard a reference to this Pyramid of Trust before. It
reminds me of the name of a game show though. Truthfully, I wish Torre
did handle pitchers better especially the ones that can only handle
either righties or lefties.
Villone for instance. He's had good success against LH hitters the past
3 out of 4 years. Looking at the rest of his figures though no sane man
would let him see a RH hitter. I just know Joe Torre will and in a big
spot too.
I haven't looked at Myers but I imagine it's the same deal.
