He was amoung the league leaders in total bases and times on base, so
your basically full of shit.
When most of the other "major" offensive
players at the time ( Bay, Francoeur, the 2 catchers; Beltran and
Reyes were injured) were swinging wildly and getting nothing done,
what did Wright do? The same thing!
No - Wright was getting on base and being one of the best offensive
players in baseball.
He is the veritable "poster child" for a selfish player
No - that would be Oliver Perez. Can can tell the difference...Wright?
who, in aIn that they'd had won about 60 games without him, in that sense he lead
sense, does lead a team.
the team.
That is, he leads them to play at a level
that is considerably lower than their apparent "talent" level. To me,
he should be considered an "anti-leader,"'
That is because your an idiot who believes that HIV is a vast leftwing
conspriacy.... Nothing new here. Your an vulgar idiot.
perhaps the best example of
one in baseball in a long time. Darling and the others who have
criticized him have been far too kind,
Darling, like every other person in baseball with a brain loves David Wright
and is on record as such...so what the hell
are YOU talking about. Your talking out of your ass.
because the results speak for
themselves.
Like the lifetime 130+ OPS+? Yeah they do, and they can't be drowned
out by a shithead like you.
The pitching was very good, and the defense passable.
Second best fielding 3nd baseman defender this season..
Thus, with a lineup with all that "talent," and a "great leader" like
Wright, this team wins more than 90s games this year, easily.
That can't be parsed by my English parsing program. Please continue
about HIV being fake.
The 79
wins speaks louder than any commentator as to Wright being a leader in
a positive way.
Yeah .. and without him they'd had won only 60 games...more or less.
Instead, he seems immature, selfish, arrogant, and
stubborn, and possibly fairly stupid.
No Monty...that is YOU. David Wright is the gentleman who leads the
team both on and off the field.
Talent can only overcome so
many obstacles, and Wright is a good example of the limits of talent.
Boy are you going to be pissed when he enters the Hall of Fame.
If Wright had been a great leader up to this point, moreover, there
would be absolutely no need to tell anyone.
His Hall of Fame plaque is going to say, Great Team Leader of the NY
Mets for 20 years.
It would be obvious, just
as the fact that he has great natural abilities is clear.
Not to you.
Funny, was Reggie Jackson "clutch"?
This
"leadership" notion reminds me of Glenn Beck the other day, claiming
that slavery in the USA was really the fault of "big
government" (which only began after the Civil War). When your
argument is incredibly ridiculous, the only thing you can do is to "go
on the offensive" and win over as many gullible people as is
possible. So, Ruben, you can have all the gullible Mets fans, AFAIC.
The Mets owners will do as they like, and reality will make itself
known on the field, as it did this year.
Forget Glen Beck...tell everone what you think of HIV.
So is HIV real or fake?
