the last on Beltran's contract. Decisions need to be made at the end
of the year in terms of direction. A youth movement, with Davis,
Thole, Tejada, Carter, Murphy, etc. is possible (in other words,
sorting out who can play at the ML level), and I don't mind that.
However, what is the point of bringing in yet another Bay type of
player if Wright and Reyes don't get the job done?
