Royals show interest in Francoeur - The Royals have expressed a bit of
interest in Jeff Francoeur, according to Fox Sports' Ken Rosenthal.


Our View

Francoeur has stated that he'd like to be dealt by the Mets now that Carlos
Beltran is back to take his playing time. The Royals are interested, but not
necessarily willing to take on his $5 million contract. We'll have to wait
and see if an agreement is made.
