Hang in there Met fans. Our worst days our behind us.

Probably not.

The Mets are not snake bit (unlucky), they are inept, undisciplined
and uninspired.
Unlucky teams have rain arrive at the wrong time, they do not drop
routine fly balls to lose several games in 1/2 season.
They have unfortunate injuries like Cora's, not a sore arm pitching
staff coming out of spring training unprepared.
Unlucky teams have their line drives always caught and the other teams
bloopers are doubles, not .350 hitters who never come up with clutch
hits.
Disciplined players score from first on a dropped routines pop up to
2nd base (Texieiera).
Undiciplined players stand and gape as their little popup is dropped
then they get thrown out at 1st. (Fernandez)

Who is the .350 player who never gets clutch hits? If you are
referring to David Wright you might want to reconsider that
disctinction. In the Yankee game fFriday night if Castillo catches
the ball we are talking about a clutch game winning hit. You could
also make the claim that if Werth does not make a Swoboda like catch
Wright's hit wins that game as well. I know it is popular to slam
David Wright as being not clutch, but given the myriad of other
problems this team has pick something else.

Dave
