What has changed? How much will K-Rod help? We had Billy Wagner for a
lot of last year. Its not like he got hurt opening day. Not much has
changed.
AYFKM?
Have you looked at the bullpen additions and SUBRACTIONS??? 29 Blown Saves?
Not this year.

But you'd also have to assume that everything that went right last
year goes right again this year. Murphy, Pelfry, and Delgado are all
projected to decline in 2009 from their 2008.
On the other hand, Wright, Reyes and Maine are expected to improve vs
LY. The questions is, can the Mets get more production out of:
Second Base (.258/.339/.338/625ab) - Castillo or another FA (I'm still
hoping something will get done here)
Right Field (.283/.347/.423/622ab) - Healthy Church
5th Spot: Garcia, Redding, Niese, Parnell
- Pedro (5-6, 5.61era, 109ip)
- C Vargas (2-2, 4.50era, 24ip)
- N Figueroa (2-3, 5.13era 33ip)
- B Knight (1-0, 5.40era, 10ip)
- J Niese (1-1, 7.07era, 14ip)
If Garcia is healthy, Mets may have an big upside in the rotation.
