Maybe not, but I'm sure the NL's #3 defense and #2 offense returning
intact (with a lot more Daniel Murphy and Nick Evans and a lot less
Damien Easley and Endy Chavez) as well as a rebuilt bullpen probably
have some people concerned.

I like Murphy a lot but I'm not so sure Evans makes it out of ST.
It's looking for and more like Perez is coming back anyway . . . so
you basically have last season's rotation with Redding replacing Pedro
Martinez. The good news on that is you'll probably get about the same
outcome but with a guy who will take the ball every 5 days instead of
looking around to find a starter.

I'm concerned about Pelfrey improving and that Maine is the real thing.
I'm sure of Santana and whatever role Redding is assigned. I wouldn't rule
out a return of Pedro.
Santana is the only one with a positive track record.
With Lowe signing that contract, I can see Boras looking for a similar deal
for Perez. Do the Mets go that far?
