Back To Back Games he pulls the starter who is pitching lights out to go by

Pelfrey after one batter after letting him hit? What was the strategy there?
Idiot. And a 3 hitter with 10K's in a must win game he goes to Joe Smith
when his best pitcher is lights out? 116 pitches. C'mon, you have to win
THESE games. He is not the manager for this group and he is not really a
leader, he is a nice bench coach and a good guy. He has infected this team
with his laid back attitude and non aggressiveness. Fire him. NOW. I have
never wanted a manager fired more and i have been a Mets fan since 62.

I'm sorry, this is a no win for Willie. Case in point, if he did what
you said and allows Johan to pitch the 8th, and he blows it. Well
it's on Willie there too. Another reason. Johan was at 116 pitches.
Another inning starts to put another averaged 16-17 pitches. That's
133 pitches. If Johan pulls something, or has a freak injury. Well
the blame goes on Willie for allowing him to pitch the 8th.

Look, if Willie gets fired, it's because the team is under
performing...PERIOD, which they are. At this point everyone is
looking for a reason why they are under performing and the current
scapegoat is Willie. Right, wrong or indifferent. If Willie gets
fired, we will see very quickly if it was Willie's fault or the
team's. Cause Manuel is about 180 degrees from Willie. He'll either
light a fire under the team that Willie couldn't. Or the team will
lose focus and interest under all the yelling.
