Um, personally, that IO Digital cable thing..... It's about the most
annoying commercial since the Easy Off Bam crap.

Any "old timers" remember that Oldsmobile commercial they used to play in the early '80s. Over and over.
It was something like "1-2-3-4 plus a kicker, hundreds more off the sticker". The Mets were bad enough, but this commercial made me crazy. I think it was back then that I discovered the MUTE button.

I've been having this recurring nightmare where every non-PBS station is running the commercial from about eight months ago with fictional, generic Europeans speaking a fictional, generic language, watching golf on HDTV as the people on the golf course search in vain for the ball that everybody watching on HDTV can easily see. The people in their living rooms gesticulate wildly at the ball and say, "Boola boola boola," incredulously. The commercial runs at least once every five minutes on every station. There is no single moment in which I can cycle through every station with the remote, without finding at least one station playing this commercial at that moment.

Oh, that's right. That really happened.
