For all of you long time Met fans, who remembers when Tom Terrific
came back to the Mets in 1982? Doesn't it feel like that again with
this year's addition of ace Johan Santana? Who remebers Seaver's
famous walk from the bullpen to the pitchers mound on opening day in
front of a full house at Shea? Seaver received a standing ovation and
the Mets went on to win that day. Oh, what memories! Bringing
Santana here rekindles those memories.
Not close..... Seaver was one of the greatest of all time, and made the
Mets winners. Johan has a ways to go yet.
