woIf both Santana and Pedro stay healthy and put up what a season
consistent with their career average, the Mets have the best one, t
in the history of the game. Better certainly than Schilling/Johnson
and probably better than Koufax/Drysdale.
Yes, and they won 20 all in the same year, 1969, the year the Orioles
won the World Series...
Not true. Those four all DID win 20... in the same year... but it was
in 1971. The Orioles didn't win the World Series that year, either.
And then there were the 1920 White Sox, who also had four twenty-game
winners in Red Faber, Ed Cicotte, Dickie Kerr and Lefty Claude
Williams. Oddly enough, they didn't even win the pennant that
season, finishing second behind the Indians, who had three 20-game
winners of their own (Jim Bagby, Stan Coveleski and Ray Caldwell).
Don't forget Bomback, Burris and Pacella.- Hide quoted text -

Wow your so eager to say I'm wrong that you will even insult the Mets
to do so, and this is on the day the Mets traded for Sananta!!! Lets
hope I"m wrong, and that Pedro and Sanatana are not the best 1, 2
ever. Yeah!!!
Good night my little Johan Santanadanna!
Mr. Richard Felder from Fort Lee, New Jersey...
I remember one time when I, Johan Santanadanna, was in the men's room in the Twins clubhouse.
So Jose Canseco is in the stall next to me with Roger Clemens, and I'm trying to do my business in peace, you know, and the wall of the stall is shaking like there's an earthquake. So finally, I have to yell, "Hey, Jose Canseco and Roger Clemens! What are you trying to do, make me sick???"
It just goes to show you - it's always something. If it's not one thing, it's another.
If it's not people dying and returning from the grave to post to asbny-m, it's Jose Canseco and Roger Clemens making the men's room stall walls shake like there's an earthquake.
