Heck, let's just play the kids

I agree that the only player Minny really wants is F. Martinez, and
like some said here Martinez isn't just another hitting prospect
inside the Mets organization, the entire MLB rates him very high.
That's saying something.
Let's just wait it out. Who knows, things can get lucky and Delgado
will find a good 'roids-trainer... er... I mean "instructor" to help
him get his hitting back. Put our trust in P. Martinez and Duque of
not blowing out their arm by June, and Humber is ready to step in for
spot starts here and there and be productive, and Pelfrey won't be
chasing Anthony Young's record again.
Then we hope that F. Martinez makes a Darry Strawberry-esque turbo
lift through the minors and be in MLB by 2009-2010 season and make ROY
impression.
In the mean time Carlos Gomez will just have to be Rickey Henderson
for one year at LF.
It's not hard for those things to happen.
