Actually, when I saw the trade I was thinking of probably Pagan being
part of a package to the Twins.

PR, I remember reading, with a lot of hope, that the trading of Milledge
was to get pieces for a Twins trade. But Estrada is now gone, Church is
still here and Santana is there.

I think in looking for the silver lining, you may be lost in the clouds.

Omar has not been able to improve this team at all this offseason and
likely weakened it with the Milledge trade.

To respond, obviously drop the "nospan"?

Lost in the clouds? Sounds OK to me. If you were in any Multinational
company you will be referring to Marketing people as "lost in the
clouds". Yet those are the one's who lead the companies, have the
vision and earn the big bucks. So I'll take that.

I think you need to relax and enjoy life. Is the off season over? Can
you please explain why Minaya traded for Angel Pagan? Does anybody
knows? Everything we said here is speculation. If you think Pagan is a
4th OFer and the Mets already have too many players for the position
(Alou, Beltran, Church, Chavez, Anderson, Gomez), why would he make a
trade? Does Omar think he needs another OFer if Gomez is traded? If
not, can he be sent to AAA? Is Pagan a compare as a player to M
Cabrera who is "supposedly" part of a package for Santana? Did the
Twins ask Omar to find another player? Is he looking for quantity, not
necessarily quality? Did Minaya gave up the farm by acquiring Pagan?

It's 2008, need to start you new year clean. Try to enjoy this.
