Taking in this game from the left coast and the As telecast. During
inning number three they inteviewed Mike. What a class act, no ego,
humble as usual. The talk around As land is that he will once again
catch, and not as advertised just be the DH. He was talking about how
much he liked playing in NYC and how great the fans are. How great
Shea is. How great it was for him. On the flip he talked about Roger
Cedeno experience, and lets just leave it at his experience was like
none of the above.
As a displaced NYer, seeing my team playing this series so well, the
festive atmosphere at Shea. I kinda wish I had never moved.
I was only able to get the a's telecast of the game today and listed
to the interview as well. Class act. Would have been nice if we
could have won a world series w/ him.
