Maybe its just a slump, but they are being soundly beat at the moment and
have just not hit out of a paperbag. Green and Alou went down? WHo would
have thunk it? Meanwhile the line up is very soft and Delgado would have
to go on a major tear, unlike one I've seen in a long time, to show that
he's the player he was 2 years ago. That leaves a lot of holes. And with
the Outfield as barren as it is, you wonder why Miledge is still on the
fram. It doesn't speak well for Lastings at all. He seems to be out of
the Mets long term plans.

Last I heard, Milledge is hurt.

Definitely, the Mets have to think the situation at 1st and second. I
wonder when Chase Utley will be available?
