Yes, but what if Green were to be eaten by a Bengal tiger? Or if he goes
down in an unexpectedly (and tragically) successful re-enactment of the
sinking of the Lusitania? How about spontaneous combustion? Would all the
rest still apply?
Or are you just sayin' they can't yet bank on Gomez and you'd rather not
have someone like Newhan there? I expect most would agree, but I wouldn't
worry about it...
A broken foot can end his season (and career) but I'd admit w/four months to
go he should be back by the playoffs.
