Like? No way? Will I watch them on ESPN? Sure. How can you not watch Big
Papi hit? Whether you like or dislike the Red Sux.

I know this is probably a flame inducing, troll inciting question, but I
have a feeling that many Mets fans like the Red Sox for the sole reason
that they play the Yankees.
I myself would always root for the Sox, and even went to the Red Sox/Mets
exhibition in 1986 at Fenway, which I think was in August - rooting for
the Mets of course. At that time, the Mets fans and the Red Sox fans got
along great in the stands, at least where I was sitting. There was a lot
of "We'll see each other in October" going around. Of course, the end
result would spoil the camaraderie.
