Maybe they came to the realization that baseball is a pastime, and you "root
root root" for your OWN team, and the ups and downs of other teams don't
mean anything to you. They may have figured out that baseball fans are a
brotherhood, and talking crap to other teams fans is retarded and pointless
and only breeds contempt.
Maybe, just maybe, they have decided that in order for the game to survive,
the real baseball fans need to stick together and advance the game in a
harmonious way as the game heads into the 2000's. Could they have suddenly
discovered that talking baseball instead of talking trash is the way to go?
NAH!
It's just that right now, their teams suck and ours does not!
