Why is it that Keppinger is supposedly having the *overall* best

Didn't Keppinger also batted around .350 for most of AAA or AA last
year?
You know, I used to love the Randolph signing. I thought here's a guy
that won't let business-bullshit to get in the way of baseball. Well,
I was wrong. As a manager he's proven that he's more of a business
manager than a baseball manager.

Listening to the Mets pre-game on the FAN, I heard Ed Coleman explain
that Willie is concerned that Anderson Hernandez hasn't played second
base enough this spring to win the job, since he's been playing short
in the absence of Reyes. Now, I do not think Willie is an idiot (some
may disagree), so this tells me they've been stacking the deck in
Matsui's favor. I do understand wanting to give the benefit of the
doubt to the guy you owe 8 million dollars to, but paying him 8 million
to lose games is worse than paying him 8 million for nothing.
