Let's assume this is fairly accurate. It looks like a lot of work was
done on this. According to this the payroll on the Mets 40 man roster
and management salaries is about to drop from $ 139 million to $ 119
million. Let's even for argument sake say that this is not totally
accurate and the payroll remains the same. So can someone please
explain to me how they can justify a 25% increase ? That is $ 10 a
ticket increase. With about 3 million in attendance that equates to a
$ 30 million increase in revenues ? Why is Omar running around
saying that he must drop salary to add any more players ? Why is the
money so tight now if they are raising their revenues so much ?
Someone please explain this ? I am confused by what they are doing
here ?
