Of course, it was Delgado and Sloane making muich of that argument...

Being fair about it, Delgado was right, last year, about which team was (supposedly) better. Floyd hadn't played a whole year. Reyes was always injured. Wright was still unproven. Piazza was in major decline. Glavine sucked. Zambrano and Benson didn't instill confidence. The bullpen was a mess. There was no RF'er. Rookie manager. Compare that to what the Marlins had, going into 2005, and you would have to agree that the Marlins were a better bet to make the post season.
