There are only a few Wagner's in the ML (with Rivera being the best). You
may find another Looper along the way if that what you are looking for. I
like to have a closer that opposing teams feel they can't be trailing after
the 8th inning is over. That's what Wagner brings to the table, besides his
100Mph fastball. With the new network coming, Wilpon can afford those extra
$$$. Don't worry about it.
