As posted elsewhere in this thread, I think you are being too generous
with our prospects. Let the Marlins deal in the open market to shed
salaries. Don't take them off the hook and give them Pettit and Nady two
cheap players both with potential.

You develop what you can
You trade for NEEDS or upgrades
You get expensive FA to fill desperate needs only.
I don't see the desperate need except catcher possibly.
Upgrade at 2nd base for good defense and hi OBP. (need OBP top of lineup}.
Develop/upgrade bullpen...cheap tweaks win 10+ more games next year easy.
