I could live with that....................especially since the Marlins are
asking a lot for a player (Delgado) who they are trying to get rid of to
save money.

Talent-wise, Delgado is worth a lot, but in this scenario, they have to eat
some salary or take back less for him (sort of like the Cameron
deal............SD took his whole salary, we got Nady instead of a package
of players).

Delgado and LoDuca, in exchange for a package would be nice.

Trachsel/Nady/Petit for Delgado/LoDuca and we take all of the salary.

Seems a bit lopsided, but the Marlins would get a ton of salary
relief............the cost of doing business that way, IMO.
