Anyway, hasn't the knock in here against Willie always been about his being
imperceptive, and half-witted? Well, not only do I vehemently disagree, but
have any of these Piniella supporters listened to Lou's much anticipated
postseason broadcasting stint? It was only revealing in so much as how this
guy's baseball acumen has been glorified. To say his observations at times
were far from insightful -- bordering on the overall trite, obvious, and
ordinary -- would be more than kind.
