Jacobs is still not a sure thing. I'm no expert but I do detect an
uppercut in his swing; that sort of hole turns into a slump when rookies
become sophomores and stop seeing fastballs. That said, he's definitely
a bright prospect and I, too, have high hopes for him. Remains to be
seen whether he's a bona-fide choice at 1B.
