I am softening a bit on Piazza. If he took less $$, it would be nice to sign
him to a 1 year deal.
Especially if they got someone like Boston's Kelly Shoppach (or whatever his
name is) in a trade.

I am not sure Jacobs is looked at as a catcher, otherwise, why hasn't he
caught yet this year?
