No they don't because minor league numbers don't project acurately to the

Like Ken Singleton, Amos Otis, Kevin Mitchel, Tim Foli, Nolan Ryan,
Scott Kazmir, Jeff Readon, Ron Cey, Roger Clemens, John Olerud, Rick
Agullera, Jose Viscieno, Hubie Brooks, Burnitz, Fernando Vina...

Not to mention a few players we actually kept like a guys named Seaver,
Koosman, Matlock, Gooden, Strawbery, Wilson, Dystra, Backman, and Orosco.

I want to see what we have before holding a firesale to fix only one
position on a team has a huge depth of need in talent.

If Dunn and Griffry aint moving the damn Reds out of the second division,
what makes you think Wright and Dunn will do any better when we STILL
need about 10 players. And believe it or not, the pitching is not as
deep as it looks.


All the really great teams are deep. The Big Red Machine had Driesen and
Knight sitting on the bench.
