If what you're saying is that both Randolph and Peterson are privy to inside
information, which they use daily to evaluate their players, then we're 100
percent in agreement. I'm not sure how Randolph's detractors expect to get
anywhere near the wildcard/playoffs without at least testing the bullpen in
tight situations.

Otherwise, there's got to come a point where you either put faith in the
manager or you don't. And right now, I put a heck of a lot more faith in
Willie's decision making process than I do the entire Mets' bullpen.
