Before Wright came up, they were raving about his defense. I think we have
seen, over the last month, that Wright has stopped making the easy outs, an
adventure. And we have seen some of his spectacular plays. I think early
this season his errors got in his head and he started aiming the ball and
letting grounders play him. I haven't seen that lately. In the minors HOJO
worked with him on his defense and hitting. As for Jacobs, he has been a
questionable fielder (at catcher), from day one. He looks decent at 1B. I'd
like to see Mex work with him next ST. However, we have to see the real
hitting Mike Jacobs. As Willie has said.
