Really? Dwight went from AA to the Major Leagues. So did Kazmir at this
point. Your argueing that College is better competition. I don't by it
and either way, Humber has NOT succeeded in AA minor league baseball.
And, for what it's worth, everything I've ever read is that Division I is
about AA level play, except ONE THING. In College they don't give a
damn about player development and have more limited competition.

The one thing I will grant you is that I have little faith in the Mets
ability to scout prospects. They've been unbelievably bad. The Braves
trade a top of the shelf starting pitcher for a rookie catcher named
Estrada, who turns out to be an all-star. I have no faith that the Mets
can do this. They just can't seem to be able to sift the cream from the
shaft.
