I don't think a 5 game series is a very fair test, but that is the
system, and NYY, despite an impressive season with lots of pitching
problems, is now a loser.
I'll also be rooting for the Tigers in the next round against Texas.
Should be a tough series for the Tigers, but they will get to use
Verlander at least twice. Nice to still have a rting interest in the
playoffs even if my favorite team failed to get into the mix.
