Since that time he is hitting .140 .178 .279. His overall average
has dropped into the mid .220s. Up until then he was doing well
offensively as a backup catcher. Better than i suspected he would.
Since then he has been a very poor hitter. All along he has shown an
inadequate throwing arm as runners are very rarely caught when
attempting to steal against him.
I'm sure I will hear it if he hits 2 HR tonight. That would be fine.
Realisticly, it looks like they can't count on him for much more this
season.
His season stats are now .224 .304 .397.
