Anyone else remember the Chambers Brothers?
yes, and that is a great song.
Okay, Carl Crawford gets a mega, mega million dollar contract. His
reputation as a hard worker remains intact. His production doesn't. 17
games into the season (he played in 16), he is hitting .149 .186 .
167. Beyond awful. for a guy who has done what he has, it is
incomprehensible. We are now more than 1/10 thru the season. After
this point I no longer consider it "the start". last yaer in 154 games
played he hit 30 doubles, 13 triples and 19 HRs. He stole 47 bases and
was caught only 10 times. For his career he had 409 steals and only 90
CS. This year, just 2 doubles so far are his only EBHs.Also, just 2 SB
and 2 CS. A boatload of easy grounders.
He has only 10 hits in 67 at bats.Only three 2 hit games and 7 hitless
games.
But I am here to say the time has come today. Carl Crawforde returns
to being Carl Crawford again. He will get at least 2 hits tonight (or
1 hit and a walk) and he will continue hitting well in future games.
Enough of the Kevin Cash impersonation!
Go Carl!
he's coming around. he'll be fine.- Hide quoted text -

Hey Ray, we finally agree on something. I like the metronome in the
background. TIME!
