They're both clowns, with the accent on entertainment. Coulter's fairly
bright, but she takes the stance that best sells her shtick. Limbaugh,

times) does with intelligence, but mainly yells louder (and over and
over and over again) to an audience that is more primed than ignorant
(in the true sense of the word). Facts are useless to either of them
unless they back up their *shtick.*

I doubt either one could care less what they're saying as long as they
can have an audience. On this level, they remind me of has-been rock
stars that make it on rep and by replaying nothing but their old hits.

I saw/heard Coulter interviewed 'live' in Canada, and the versions that
were aired in Canada and the US were cut radically different. The
Canadian version made her sound patronizing, arrogant, mildly ironic,
rather obtuse about Canada and much less bitter than 'usual.' The US
version was spliced in such a way that she seemed to be a Messiah
preaching to the godless leftists. It was very, very amusing.

Limbaugh I've listened to perhaps a dozen times (in brief doses), and I
consider him to the Jim Jones of right-wing politics. He's frequently
wrong, misrepresents at will and has confused talking with farting. I
hesitate to pass any coherent judgment on his audience.
