Yup, I guess that's why he regularly led the league in intentional walks.
Oh wait, he never led the league, and only cracked the top ten three
times. Never mind. At least he was feared enough to finish tied for
179th in career IBBs, behind such feared hitters as Mike Greenwell, Ozzie
Smith, and Lou Piniella.

he had 3 straight 200 hit years and a 4th later. he hit in 11 seasons he had
150 hits or more and another one of 148.
