I'm with you. Why is everyone so hot to dump Lowell? A year ago this group
was flooded with calls for the Sox to sign Lowell, no matter what. Now
Lowell is disposable. Sure he got hurt and didn't have a good year, but I
would rather take my chances on him than pay a ridiculous amount for 8 or 10
years for a player who has a dicey reputation as a clubhouse problem.
Besides, what happened to the "build from within" aproach? Just because TEE
empire threw in the towel on that strategy why should the RS? Just my
opinion.
