Who's crying?
Yankees fans..... every time the Sox are mentioned on ESPN they
go off
the deep end. I keep telling them that it's the Empire State
Programming Network.... but they don't believe me! <G>
No, no. I'm crying about the bad choices management made the last few
years. Like overpaying some old dudes, choosing young and not-quite-ready-
for-the-majors pitchers over solid proven pitchers and stuff.
Their arrogance is the thing I don't like. While I do hope they get some
nifty free agents this winter I certainly don't like the way they act. Like
trying to put pressure on Sabathia by saying the offer won't stand for a
couple of months, geez.. as if it's Sabathia who wants to be a Yankee
instead of the Yankees wanting Sabathia.

what team doesn't put a time limit on offers if they are just sitting?
Manny's just got pulled. Teams do it all the time. People complained
about the Yankees getting to much coverage for awhile as well. Since
they haven't been winning the coverage switched to the Sox because
they were winning.
