OT: The oddest damned thing !!! Friday's "Crusoe" !!!

So I taped this show Friday night and watched it this morning before
getting up as has become my custom. And while the background audio
was fine, I could hear people off screen talking, and things like
water falls, not to mention the background music, when the main
characters were speaking among themselves there was no sound. Mostly
this was between Crusoe and a cute female pirate, who they found a
reason to get naked. Not that that's germaine to my point, just wanted
to mention it. So does anyone know how this can happen? It was almost
like the main audio track wasn't broadcasting. I watched the entire
episode (Interesting how easy it was to figure out what was going on
without dialogue.) and the next week's scenes, during which the audio
was fine. The tale involved Friday apparently hallucinating and Crusoe
and the cute girl pirate (Who they seem to be moving closer to having
sex with the very married and so far faithful Crusoe.) putting together
an antidote which included Crusoe dangling from a rope off a cliff to
collect a plant needed. Anyway, it all ended well but my confusion
still remains.
Forgive yet another off topic post on my part. During the off season
I'm known to do these once in a while. Usually they're fairly harmless
though.
