He lectures us that instead of worrying about immigrants learning
English, "you need to make sure your child can speak Spanish" -- a
language Obama does not speak. He further admonishes us on how
"embarrassing" it is that Europeans are multilingual but "we go over

What an idiot. Why should our children speak Spanish? If he or any
incumbents do their jobs the borders will be closed and the growing
hispanic
population will be American born and speaking English. The rest can
learn
English and if they don't our children won't have to answer to them.
Is
he
conceding a hostile takeover? That's cowardice. If he had any sense
he'd
be pushing Chinese as there will be a lot of jobs available to Chinese
speaking Americans.


Last I checked, China didn't share a border with us.


What does that have to do with improving our children's opportunities?


How is it harmful for our children to learn a second language? In most
other parts of the world, people speak other languages. Why do you consider
ignorance of other languages as a positive. One of our major difficulties
in the gathering of intelligence in order to keep this nation safe, is the
shortage of interpreters...to give just one practical application. This
jingoistic attitude that everyone should adjust to us, is one of the things
that is making us a pariah nation in the world. It is a vast understatement
to say how short-sighted our ugly American...*** you to the rest of the
world...we can kick anyone's ass...is hurting us around the world. Think.
Have we EVER won a war without the help of other countries...without an
alliance of some sort? Including our war for independence with Britain?
Those "cheese eating surrender monkey Frenchmen" had more than a little to
do with our victory you know.

This planet is shrinking all the time. We better learn to get along with at
least SOME of our non-English speaking neighbors. They shouldn't ALL be our
enemies.

And considering how indebted this administration has made us to the Chinese,
that suggestion to learn Chinese might not be such a bad idea. We might
just be another Republican administration away from being a wholly owned
subsidiary of theirs.
