I believe some do. Depends on the actor's or actress's stature and
recent history of successes.

Not quite sure what yer driving at here...and Im probably being
whooshed, but Da Vinci Code was a massive success bringing in $758
million worldwide and was the second most successful film worldwide in
2006.
