What would historians say if we dropped a nuke on a country we invaded
for no reason and that was of no threat to us?
Maybe we should have thought of that before Dwight D. Eisenhower
interjected us into the Viet Nam war.

Eisenhower refused to support the French who were fighting there, it was JFK that got us into that mess.

When I learned about warfare I learned that you
go into the war to win it. If you're not willing to
do what is needed to win then stay home.

Stop changing the subject.
First..it wasn't a war.

Tell that to the families of the 58,000 dead, and the untold numbers of troops that came home mangled, and maimed.

Second..YOU said we should nuke them. What justification would you
offer for nuking a country that we invaded for no reason and one that
offered no threat to us.

To end the killing of American troops, and a quick exit out of that fiasco, same justification Truman used with Japan. And we should have blown their asses off this planet.
