I was for McCain in 2000. I am afraid his time has come and gone. If
elected, he would be the oldest person ever elected for a first
term.And while I greatly admire him for holding up thru years of
torture, that sadly is likely to adversely affect his health as he
ages. He already has had health problems. Also, he has become
increasingly stubborn in his desire to show his "independence". Making
buddy buddy with Ted Kennedy is not a way to win my vote. McCain
should stay as a senator.
I was a supporter of McCain in 2000, not this time.

He lost my vote when he failed to stand up in support
of John Kerry during the swift boat fiasco.

He also lost my vote when he gave up on campaign finance
reform.
